
Cranberry and Red Wine Sauce
Cranberry and Red Wine Sauce is the perfect sauce to complement the Christmas turkey!

Ingredients
200g dried cranberries
300ml red wine
1 red onion, finely diced
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tbsp dark brown sugar
½ tsp salt
2 tsps arrowroot
Method
- Place all the ingredients except the arrowroot into a saucepan and simmer gently for 20 minutes. Mix the arrowroot with a little cold water and whisk into the mixture to thicken. Simmer for a further 10 minutes, pour into a container and allow to cool before covering with a lid.
- Store refrigerated until ready to serve. Serve hot or cold. Reheat in a saucepan bringing to a simmer for 5 minutes.
